INTERACTIVE GAMING COUNCIL MEMBERS MEETING – MAY 2000, MONTREAL

The Interactive Gaming Council Board wishes to advise that the next meeting for Interactive Gaming Council Members is scheduled for 13 May in Montreal. The meeting has been organized to coincide with the Global Interactive Gaming Summit & Expo (1) scheduled for May 10-12 at the Hotel Delta Centre-Ville (formerly Radisson Hotel). Meetings have been arranged as follows:

Saturday, May 13 IGC New Member Orientation 9.00 - 10.00
Saturday, May 13 IGC Members Only (Closed-Door) 10.00 – 13.30

You are encouraged to come along and support your association plus take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the many splendors (least of which being the nouvelle cuisine) that the beautiful city of Montreal has on offer.

The Interactive Gaming Council will have a booth at the Expo, located adjacent to the registration desk, so please do not be shy in coming forward to meet with the new and established “faces” of the Interactive Gaming Council.  You will have the opportunity to put a face to a name and meet the Executive Director, Rick Smith, and Deputy Executive Director, Keith Furlong.

Needless to say, such an occasion would be incomplete without some form of social activity to counterbalance the business side of the ledger (not to mention the networking opportunities this presents).  Inquiries have commenced regarding a dinner boat cruise for Friday evening, 12 May.  Please remember, if ever a member or acquaintance of a member, is agreeable to sponsoring a social event please do not hesitate to indicate this willingness by contacting the writer (see my email below) or an Interactive Gaming Council Board member directly.  Expressions of interest to sponsor events are always welcome.

To help with identifying numbers could you please, as soon as possible, indicate by return email (see below) whether you will be attending the meeting in Montreal and if you intend coming along on the boat cruise.  Also, if there is anything you wish to discuss do not hesitate to contact me by email.  An agenda for the meeting will be forwarded closer to the date.

Should a member require assistance with accommodation or air travel arrangements please contact Marlene Gelardi of Journeycorp at (or telephone 201-692-8111) and mention that you will be attending the Interactive Gaming Council meeting in Montreal.

Thank you and I look forward to meeting with you in Montreal.

Rick Smith

Executive Director, IGC
